This proccess is long and the froit of this practice will lead to the practicioner to the other members of Patañjali´s AsthangaYoga such as meditation (Dhyana) and absorption (Samadhi). As the teacher gives details, the practicioner enters the postures not only physically, but also with the mind and intelligence, directing the students to create an acttitude of conscious awareness. B.K.S. Iyengar calls it meditation in action.
